The mission of the Spring Avenue School Parent Teacher Organization (SPTO) is to support the mission and vision of Spring Avenue School by working in cooperation with parents, administration, faculty, and the community.

Vern Goers Fundraiser
May is Here! Time to shop at Vern Goers Family owned Greeenhouse in Hinsdale.
Spring Ave PTO and Vern Goers are once again participating in a shop-n-share program!
Vern Goers offers a fantastic assortment of annuals, perennials, vegetables and bulbs.
Give them a copy of this flyer and they will generously donate 10% of your purchases to our PTO!
Remember to make extra copies for friends and neighbors!
Vern Goers is one block West of County Line Road and one block South of 55th at 5620 S. Oak Street, Hinsdale (630)323-1085
Their hours of operation are Monday-Saturday from 8:00AM-6:00PM Closed on Sundays.

PTO Volunteers Needed
WE WANT YOU,
FOR SPRING AVENUE PTO!
It's that time, the Spring Avenue PTO needs talented volunteers to run our committees next year! So grab your friend, grab your spouse and grab your neighbor because we need all hands on deck. Your involvement is crucial to the continuation of these programs! No volunteers, no programs. Simple as that.
Please look over this list and email Tina McLane at tinamclane77@att.net if you have any interest in the positions below. She will be anxiously awaiting your emails of interest.
SILENT AUCTION
-Work with our fabulous Adult social chairs to organize the silent auction to fundraise for our school. (need two people)
FIELD DAYS GRADES 4-6
-We need two people to plan and execute the grades 4-6 Field Days event in June 2018. Budget provided.
HOLIDAY TREATS
-We need two people to assist Molly Flood with planning/purchasing/delivering holiday treats to the holiday parties. Budget provided.
5TH/6TH GRADE SOCK HOP
-We need one or two people to be the point person for assisting with the sock hops (order dj's, get snacks, organize volunteers). Budget provided.
YEARBOOK PHOTOGRAPHERS
We need 3 co-chairs to work with Angie Lally and Kelly Jorgensen to create our yearbook. We need K-2, 3-4 and 5-6 photography point people, responsible for taking pics/organizing pages for these grades in the yearbook.
RUN CLUB
-We need a co-chair for this fun club with Sue Collins. Fall and Spring.
Cub Scout Pack 3177
Cub Scout Pack 3177 is seeking new members ages 5 to 10 years of age. Boys in Cub Scouts learn to become self-reliant leaders while having fun and making friends. Pack 3177 invites interested boys and their families to attend our Raingutter Regatta on Friday, May 19th at 5:30 to learn more about scouting, Pack 3177 and to build their own sailboat to race!

If you wish to attend the Regatta, please RSVP cubmaster@cubpack3177.org by May 15th. The Regatta will take place in the playground of Spring Ave. School. Food and drink will be served.

We have opened up Fun Lunch sign up on Classjuggler. Fun Lunch dates are:
January 18 - Jimmy John's
March 15 - Nonno's Pizza
June 2 (Field Day) - McDonald's
A housekeeping note:
Please make sure that your child's correct grade level is in his/her profile on Classjuggler. We have several deliveries to accommodate 4 lunch periods. Delivery amounts for each period is based on that data. Please check it, and update it.
